It’s Brae’s Brown Bags 5th Anniversary! We will be hosting the event at the Bear-Glasgow YMCA again this year, 351 George Williams Way, Newark, DE 19702.
Each year at our annual 3B Summer Celebration we invite the community to attend so we can thank them for their support and their encouragement. It is free to attend for all supporters and clients of Brae’s Brown Bags as a way to say thank you to our community. Our event is super fun and family-friendly with food including Cajun Sno!, music courtesy of our friends from 93.7 WSTW, games, face painting and air brush tattoos! Plus we have amazing raffles from local places and sports teams.
As we celebrate FIVE years this summer, we would like to honor everyday heroes from our community and we want YOU to nominate them! Is there someone in your life who goes above and beyond or inspires you to make change in the world? This person can be a police officer, firefighter, teacher, nurse, mentor, it is up to you to convince us why your nominee is an everyday hero and should be recognized with a special #3BThankYou

Our Mission
3B Brae’s Brown Bags, founded in 2013 by Braeden Mannering at the age of nine, provides homeless and low-income populations with access to healthy foods, clean water and contact information for additional services which can aid them. His ongoing mission is not only to feed people today, but to raise awareness about the problems of food insecurity and poverty, and empower and inspire youth across the nation to become part of the solution. This is why we launched 3B Ripple Student Chapters to get more youth involved in public service and hunger relief! We are also now providing relief within the United States during times of disaster. We have been able to send our bags to Florida and Texas after the hurricane and also to Tennessee after their wildfires. The recipients were incredibly grateful and touched that people in Delaware were thinking of them and wishing them well.
